Double up for Vom cats!

SC(N) CarilloCat Dobronega DVM, and SC Kedr Onix Gloria *RU were both named «Cat of the Year» in their respective sexes when NRR (Norwegian Cat Fanciers' Association) recently published the lists of top-winning cats in 2018.

An achievement that might be hard to match.

«Dobronega» and «Kedr» are of the Siberian cat breed, live in Spydeberg and are owned by Kari Granaas Hansen.

It has been a completely incredible year, but I would never have dreamt of topping the charts for both sexes, says a satisfied breeder and owner of both cats.

It is not the first time cats from CarilloCat have topped the annual lists. But two winners in the same year is a bit much even for an experienced cat and dog breeder and exhibitor.

I am incredibly pleased with this, especially since I haven't shown cats to any great extent in recent years, says Kari happily.

Kari has fed the cats on VOM cat food ever since the food was launched, and only has good things to say about the cat food from Trøgstad:

I am convinced that raw meat is the best food for both cats and dogs, she says, and continues: The coat becomes good and the cats develop bodies with substance and proper weight. Raw meat is simply the most natural food for animals that are fundamentally predators.

And she should know a thing or two about feeding after around 40 years as a pet owner and breeder:

I have always given the animals the best. That is why we have also used VOM since Magne started production, alone in an outbuilding a few km from today's fine facility at Mansrud! First for the dogs, then for the cats as a separate food was also developed for them.

Dobronega also received the title of «National Winner», a title that is highly regarded among show enthusiasts.
She is of our own breeding and has five generations of «CarilloCat» cats behind her in her pedigree. Meanwhile, Kedr is imported from the breed's home country, Russia.
