VOM CAT range

VOM CAT is a complete cat food range consisting of two different mixtures: Genuine CAT og CAT Original with Salmon.

The cat is a carnivore, which is physiologically adapted to a diet consisting of animal raw materials. They have a natural preference for leaner protein sources, and have an essential need for nutrients that only an animal-based diet will provide.

Genuine CAT

Complete cat food

Composition: Chicken (neck, gizzard), beef liver, minerals.

Original pose 320g
with meatballs

Original sausage 500g

CAT Original is a versatile complete food for cats. The mixture contains raw ingredients from the leanest parts of the chicken, which provide the cat with protein of very high quality and biological value. These raw ingredients are also rich in the amino acid taurine, which is an essential amino acid for the cat. Beef liver is a natural source of vitamin A, as well as the B vitamin niacin, which is necessary for the cat to get directly through its food.

Feeding guide (when introducing VOM Cat)

By nature, the cat is influenced by its mother's food preferences, and the food kittens receive during weaning is often what they themselves develop a preference for. The cat is therefore often considered more fussy than the dog, but that does not mean it cannot be accustomed to a raw diet in adulthood. Our experience is that through good routines, the cat will easily adapt to a different feeding plan, and it is definitely worth it! If you have an outdoor cat, it is already eating a raw diet by hunting and eating mice and small birds.

We recommend a gradual change of food. Naturally, cats prefer many small meals throughout the day. VOM Cat meatballs are therefore very convenient.

  • Keep food in the fridge
  • Serve the food defrosted
  • Give the cat an undisturbed place to eat
  • Gradually replaced the cat's old food with VOM

Feeding amount – adult

The recommended daily feeding amount for VOM Cat as a complete diet is approximately 4% of the cat’s normal weight. The amount required by each individual cat varies and depends on several factors, including age, metabolism and activity level. Outdoor cats, for example, have higher energy requirements than indoor cats. Some cats may also have a lower activity level following neutering or spaying.

It is important to remember that this is a guide amount that must be adapted to the individual cat. We therefore recommend starting with the guide amount and making any necessary adjustments. VOM Cat can also be combined with other wet cat food or dry cat food.

Feeding guide – kitten

VOM Cat can be introduced to kittens from around 4 weeks of age. When kittens are first introduced to solid food, this is usually only a supplement to their mother’s milk. Their mother’s milk remains the most important source of nutrition. However, as the kittens get older and eat only solid food, their nutritional requirements will increase, and the total daily feed intake may be up to 10% of the kitten’s body weight. Size, activity level and growth rate vary greatly depending on breed and the individual cat. It is therefore important to adapt and adjust the amount. As the cat grows, it will be necessary to reduce the amount of VOM Cat.
