With us, everything starts with carefully selected, Norwegian animal raw materials, produced under strict hygiene and cleanliness requirements. We have to adhere to the same stringent requirements for quality control and hygiene as human food producers. In addition, we set ourselves extremely high standards throughout the entire production process – right from the raw materials we purchase until the finished product arrives at our VOM retailers. We work closely with experts to ensure that your dog gets a complete and nutritious meal, whilst production is inspected by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority to guarantee safety and quality.
Our production process preserves the good nutrition of the raw materials – meat, bone and offal are gently minced and mixed, without heat treatment, to preserve all the natural nutrients. We do not add unnecessary fillers, colourings or preservatives. The result is a natural raw diet made with Norwegian quality.

How raw ingredients become nutritious dog food
The raw materials are sorted and frozen at the abattoirs before being transported by refrigerated transport to our production facility in Trøgstad for further inspection. Every day we receive new raw materials, and after careful inspection and quality control, they are stored in our cold store until production. Chicken is received fresh-daily and used immediately.
When the raw materials are taken out of the cold store, they are minced while as frozen as possible to ensure optimal quality. All products follow a fixed recipe, where the raw materials are weighed out to ensure the correct mixing ratio. During the mixing process, a vitamin and mineral premix is added. Even with a low inclusion rate, it plays an important role in balancing the nutritional content. The mixing process follows a set programme to ensure a homogenous and even composition.
Our production personnel possess both professional competence and extensive experience. All products are closely monitored, and we have established procedures for controlling all critical points in production. Every batch is recorded for full traceability, and we send routine analyses for chemical and microbial content of both raw materials and finished products.
The finished blends are packaged on production lines for sausages, meatballs and Easypack, before being frozen. Once the products are fully frozen, they are packed in cartons and stored in the cold store until distribution to retailers.
Finally, the products are transported by refrigerated transport to our dealers. In Eastern Norway we have our own drivers with fixed weekly routes, while transport to the rest of the country is handled by external carriers.
